The most popular among the variations of flexible containers is two-loop Big Bag. This is due to the simplicity of its configuration, its portability and, no less important, favourable price.

Big Bag is made of polypropylene fabric in such a way that two loops are the extension of container body. For additional strength when interacting with FIBC, the loops are equipped with laminated fabric cuffs.

Depending on the needs of the client, there are different modifications of two-loop containers. To simplify the process of loading goods, Big Bag is equipped with a duffle top or filling spout. Material discharge is automated through the installation of a discharge element at the bottom of the container. If the transported cargo doesn’t need protection from dust or dirt, then the standard configuration of two-loop FIBC in the form of an open top and a plain bottom is applied.

Polypropylene Big Bags from “Polymercontainer’ have a certified safety factor of 5:1, 6:1 and 8:1. This means that with the selected carrying capacity of 1 ton, a container is able to withstand the load in 5, 6, and 8 times higher than it.

For the transportation of materials with sharp edges (e.g. crushed marble, rubble, glass), a double-layer Big Bag is made. This method increases the strength of container, reducing the risk of its rupture and cargo losses.

During the filling process, the flexible container tends to “swell” or “round out”. This moment should be taken into account when loading Big Bags into vehicles – cars, railway wagons and sea containers. To fix the square state, KhPPC produces Big Bags with baffles, known as Q-Bags.

If it is required to protect goods from the influence of moisture or air, a polyethylene liner is additionally inserted into the Big Bag, fully repeating the dimensions of the container. The polyethylene liner also serves as protection against losses of finely dispersed cargo and product contamination.
